15/04/2026 | 8:00 pm
Stadthalle Holzminden
Program
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791)
Concerto for Clarinet and Orchestra in A major, K. 622
Concert details
On 15 April at 8 p.m., the Hanover Chamber Orchestra will be performing at the Holzminden Town Hall. We are delighted to welcome back clarinettist Panagiotis Giannakas, who performed with the orchestra in November. Giannakas is the winner of the prestigious Jacques Lancelot International Clarinet Competition, Rouen 2025, and captivates audiences with his warm tone and virtuoso ease.
Mozart's Clarinet Concerto, one of the most popular works in the repertoire, will be performed once again. The programme will be complemented by other pieces, the selection of which is currently being finalised – but it already promises to be a varied and atmospheric concert evening.
Broadcast on NDR Kultur
Special news for everyone who couldn't be there live in November:
The concert, which was recorded at the Tessmar recording studio, was broadcast on 28 December 2025 at 1 p.m. on NDR Kultur. A wonderful end to the year for friends of the chamber orchestra and a musical review of last autumn's collaboration.
