Concert details
On 28 June at 11:30 a.m., the Hanover Chamber Orchestra will conclude its matinee series at the Roemer-Pelizaeus Museum in Hildesheim with a special musical highlight. The concert is also part of the Eurasia Festival 2026 and is dedicated entirely to new music from Egypt.
In addition to a commissioned composition to be created especially for this occasion, contemporary works by Egyptian composers are planned, which will showcase current trends, new musical languages and cultural connections. The participation of Egyptian guest instrumentalists is also planned. The aim is to create an exciting musical exchange that combines tradition and modernity in a special way – the final line-up will be announced at a later date.
An innovative and sonically diverse finale that concludes the matinee series with a glimpse into the musical present.
