On Saturday, 29 November, we, the Hannover Chamber Orchestra, together with the Evangelical Lutheran North City Parish and the International Children's and Youth Choir Centre, will be hosting a special musical afternoon at the Christuskirche Hannover.

At 3:00pm, we invite children aged 6 and above to an orchestra workshop. Together with musicians from our orchestra, the children can discover the world of orchestral instruments, try them out for themselves and experience how many individual sounds come together to create a shared musical expression.

At 5:00pm, the Advent concert will follow, featuring John Rutter's festive ‘Magnificat’. Conducted by Martina Wagner, the Nordstädter Kantorei (approx. 50 singers), the children's choir of the parish (conductor: Daniel Eggert), the ‘Kleine Chor’ der Lutherschule (conductor: Cornelius Hauschild) and the Hannover Chamber Orchestra under the baton of Hans-Christian Euler.
