On 14 October 2025, an ensemble from the Hanover Chamber Orchestra will embark on a long journey to Ascoli Piceno, Italy, to present new music at the Nuovi Spazi Musicali Festival. Don't worry – we know that our readers will be staying in Hanover and the surrounding area, but we think it's just fun to report on the exciting sound experiments of our musicians, even if they are currently enjoying their pasta!

The festival is dedicated to contemporary music, and our ensemble will perform works that combine classical instrumental tradition with modern forms of expression. Exciting listening experiences, surprising soundscapes and innovative compositions await anyone who is curious about new music (or at least enjoys listening to it).

Even if you cannot be there in person, we will take you on this musical journey of discovery and report on an evening full of creative energy from Italy.
