Am 20. September um 11:30 am beschließt das Kammerorchester Hannover seine Matinee-Reihe im Roemer-Pelizaeus-Museum Hildesheim mit einem besonderen musikalischen Höhepunkt. Das Konzert ist zugleich Teil des Eurasia-Festivals 2026 und widmet sich ganz der Neuen Musik aus Ägypten.

In addition to a commissioned composition to be created especially for this occasion, contemporary works by Egyptian composers are planned, which will showcase current trends, new musical languages and cultural connections. The participation of Egyptian guest instrumentalists is also planned. The aim is to create an exciting musical exchange that combines tradition and modernity in a special way – the final line-up will be announced at a later date.

An innovative and sonically diverse finale that concludes the matinee series with a glimpse into the musical present.
