Concert details
On 14 June at 11:30 a.m., the third matinee concert in the series will take place at the Roemer-Pelizaeus Museum in Hildesheim. Once again, the programme combines historical themes with baroque musical splendour.
The focus is on excerpts from Georg Philipp Telemann's Klingende Geographie and the oratorio ‘Der aus der Löwengrube errettete Daniel’. The expressive music, characterised by dramatic scenes and colourful arias, is enriched in this concert by the participation of countertenor Johannes Euler. His distinctive voice lends the sacred passages particular intensity and depth.
An impressive Baroque concert that adds a moving musical facet to the matinee series.
